As reported in a previous RSS feed on FRAMES ONLINE UK, some popular frames were low or out of stock. This was due to a combination of demand and deliveries affected by the recent adverse snow filled weather in the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom's Royal Mail union is proposing a series of postal strikes. The first of these is planned for 22-23 October 2009 and if this goes ahead, means likely delays for any despatches via Royal Mail from 21st October onwards. UK Mainland customers are advised that a 'BEAT THE STRIKE SPECIAL' for next day despatch via City Link will be available for items up to 1Kg; whilst strike threats are in force at a special VAT inclusive price of GBP 5.75.
